The remaining 28 players are going on their first 15-minute break of the day.
Alexander Farahi has been on a heater to start Day 3, cruising into the chip lead and he wasn't done yet. Farahi opened to 45,000 in the cutoff and Ernest Bush flat-called on the button. Domenico Gala shipped all in for 540,000 in the small blind and Farahi called, forcing Bush to get out of the way.
Domenico Gala: A♥Q♦
Alexander Farahi: A♠Q♠
It was in all likelihood going to be a split pot, but the flop of J♠5♠4♥ gave Farahi a flush draw. The 6♥ on the turn changed nothing but the 7♠ on the river made Farahi's flush to eliminate Gala.

The action folded around to John Riordan on the button who slid out a raise to around 200,000, leaving just 5,000 chips behind. Austin Apicella just called from the big blind and turned his K♠6♠ face up.
The flop came K♥10♥8♥ and Apicella flicked in a bet. Riordan eyed the tournament clock and burned through all four of his time banks, awaiting the pay jump before he called.
John Riordan: A♦6♦
Austin Apicella: K♠6♠
Riordan was down to just three outs and the 8♠, 9♣ runout was not going to help him. He also failed to make the pay jump, bowing out in 32nd place.

Jesse Lonis raised it up from under the gun and Gregory Rankich flat-called on his left. They went heads-up to a flop of 10♥9♠8♥ and Lonis continued with a bet of 35,000. Rankich called and the 10♠ paired the board on the turn.
Lonis checked this time and Rankich checked it back. The river was the J♥ and Lonis reached back for a large bet of 225,000. Rankich instantly flicked in a call and Lonis turned over J♣10♦ for a full house. Rankich showed his A♥4♥ for a rivered flush and was fortunate to get away with limited damage.

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading J♠3♠2♣2♠, Ignacio Sole Aparicio led out with a bet of 130,000 into a pot of around 200,000. Adam Walton just called on the button and the J♥ peeled off on the river.
Aparicio checked this time and Walton moved all in for around 250,000. Aparicio quickly slung his cards into the muck and Walton raked in the pot.

Jared Jaffee raised to 35,000 on the button and Giuseppe Pantaleo defended from the big blind. The flop came 9♥7♠7♣ and Jaffee continued with a bet of 25,000. Pantaleo check-raised to 85,000 and Jaffee gave it up.
On the next hand, Jaffee made it 30,000 to go and Pantaleo three-bet to 120,000 from the small blind. Jaffee called and the flop of Q♦10♦5♠ hit the felt. Pantaleo led out with a bet of 90,000 and Jaffee just called.
The turn brought the 9♠ and Pantaleo slowed down with a check. Jaffee shoved all in as the bigger stack and Pantaleo quickly threw his cards away.
