Florida's Antuan Bunkley was the first winner of yesterday's Wynn Millions series action as the West Palm Beach native reached a heads-up deal with Kentucky's Lawrence Schoettker to win the trophy and $16,991.

Vixaythong and Riley Claim Titles at Wynn Millions

The Wynn Millions series officially kicked off on February 16 and will run through March 22, launching over a month of high-stakes tournament action in Las Vegas. The first two winners of the festival have already been crowned.

The opening event, a $500 No-Limit Hold’em tournament featuring a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool drew 165 entries, generating a total prize pool of $69,795.

A total of 20 players cashed, and once the field was whittled down to three, the remaining competitors agreed to a chop. The trophy and largest payout went to Khanthaly Vixaythong, who walked away with $15,225.

Second-place money of $11,150 went to Kristen Imsirovic, who is married to Ali Imsirovic, a well-known controversial professional player. Mohammadreza Soltany Sadrabadi rounded out the deal with $9,942.

Gerald Riley Wins $200 Turbo

The second event to take place during the Wynn Millions series, was the $200 NLH Turbo.

The event saw a total of 72 entries, which created a prize pool of $23,940, with Gerald Riley topping the field to take home the trophy, and $7,480.

Also on the podium was Guillermo Abdel Musik Asali winning $4,788, and Jeffrey Yarchever finished in third for $3,352.
