Nawabi Leads Day 1A of $400 NLH $100K GTD
Day 1A of the $400 No-Limit Hold’em $100,000 GTD is in the books at the Wynn Millions, with 194 entries generating a $64,602 prize pool so far.
When the bags came out, 24 players remained, led by Yosif Nawabi, who finished the day with 860,000 chips.
It’s already been a good series for Nawabi. Earlier in Week 3 he took down the $600 Mixed Triple Draw for $10,035, and now he finds himself in pole position heading into Day 2 of one of the larger mid-stakes events on the schedule.
Right behind him is Philipp Caranica (853,000), while Adam Churnick (698,000) rounds out the top three stacks.
The tournament resumes Thursday, March 12 at 12 p.m., with blinds at 4,000/8,0000 with an 8,000 big blind ante and a current average stack of 323,333.
Players who missed their shot on Tuesday will have another opportunity to advance when Day 1B runs Wednesday at 12 p,m,, before the remaining field returns Thursday to play down to a winner.
