Keating Bags Chip Lead on Day 1d of Wynn Summer Classic $10,000 Championship
It was the last chance for many to jump into the Wynn Summer Classic $10,000 Championship and one man who took advantage of that opportunity was Alan Keating.
He bagged the chip lead with 442,000 after a massive 641 players entered on the final flight. 239 players have advanced with 440 players returning on Thursday for Day 2. Another big name advancing is Jesse Lonis (415,000), with Vijay Ramani sandwiched between the two stars.
Those three are the only players above 400,000 in chips, with the average chip stack heading into Day 2 sitting at 132,954, with cards in the air from 12 p.m.
