PokerNews MSPT Season 4 Kicks Off at Running Aces Harness Park
The PokerNews Mid-States Poker Tour will be back at one of the tour's favorite venues in February to kick off Season 4 — Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus, Minnesota. The tournament will take place in a beautiful atrium with floor-to-ceiling windows and table service for meals and drinks.
Last year's winner, Rodger Johnson from North Dakota, will be back to defend his title. Also, the MSPT can be sure that runner-up, and 2012 Minnesota Poker Magazine Player of the Year Erick Wright will be back to avenge his second-place finish in last season's event.
This season’s series at Running Aces will boast a number of tournaments including added money and a freeroll for two $1,100 Main Event seats.
Satellites and qualifiers for the Main Event will start on Feb. 9, 2013, and run daily through the Feb. 16. The Main Event will have two starting days: Day 1a on Friday, Feb. 15, and Day 1b on Saturday, Feb. 16. Both days will start at 5 p.m. CST. Day 2 will start at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
