Chad Elie Exclusive, Part 2: Jeremy Johnson, the Legality of Online Poker Processing and More

Part 1 of our exclusive interview with Chad Elie touched on how Elie got involved in the world of online poker payment processing,. In Part 2, Elie discusses how his former partner Jeremy Johnson allegedly stole from online poker operators, why he took the risk of processing poker transactions in the United States after UIGEA, transparency in the industry, and more.

Elie was indicted along with ten other men on April 15, 2011 as part of what is now known as the Black Friday indictments. Although he was adamant about fighting the indictment, Elie eventually pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit bank fraud and operating an illegal gambling business in the United States and served a five month prison sentence. Prior to serving his time, Elie opened up to the poker community through his twitter account @BlackFridayChad and has been eager to shed light on the poker payment processing industry.
