The Sunday Briefing: "Tupac_sjr" Wins PokerStars' 800 Millionth Tournament for $216,358

PokerStars celebrated its 800 Millionth tournament on Saturday by hosting a special $100 buy-in event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, and the turnout exceeded expectations. More than 21,000 players participated in the historic event, creating a prize pool of $2,163,500. The eventual winner was Belgium's "tupac_sjr" who took it down outright for $216,358.

Others collecting big scores over the weekend were Jude "j_thaddeus" Ainsworth, David "DonkCommited" Miscikowski, Ondrej "Vinkyy" Vinklarek, Maria "Femmeonfelt" Ho, Jonathan "Jcardshark" Little, and Stefan "mindgamer" Jedlicka, who chopped the PokerStars Sunday Million for $129,000.
