PokerNews Named "Best Affiliate in Poker" For Third Consecutive Year

The 2015 edition of the iGB Affiliate Awards took place on Sunday, Feb. 1, and PokerNews was awarded the title of Best Affiliate in Poker for the third consecutive year.

Held at Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge, London, during the prestigious London Affiliate Conference (LAC), the awards provided a great chance for hundreds of top names in the gambling and affiliate industry to meet and reward those who contributed the most to the development of the business.

"To win this award once was an accomplishment we're all very proud of, but to win the best poker affiliate title for three straight years is a true testament to how wonderful our team is,” iBus Media’s Chief Creative Officer Matthew Parvis said.

To bring home the third trophy in three years, PokerNews had to beat a field made up of the top poker affiliates in the industry like PokerStrategy, PokerListings, and Finland’s leading online poker portal Pokerisivut.

Parvis, who took the role of Head of Content at the iBus Media / PokerNews back in 2009, explained that the success was made possible by the great work done by all the people involved in the different operations of the site.

"Every single person that works on PokerNews pours their heart into it; from the the design and development team, to our fantastic affiliate managers, right through to the entire editorial department and to all of our different national editions," Parvis continued. "It's truly a group effort and we are really proud of what we have been able to achieve so far."

PokerNews is not the only product part of the iBus Media that made it to the final stage of the prestigious iGB Awards, as one of the group’s latest additions, PokerNews, was also shortlisted as one of the best casino affiliates currently operating in the industry.

Launched in early 2014, PokerNews rapidly established itself as one of the most accurate and informative online casino portal available and earned both the confidence of affiliates and the trust of the industry after few months of activity.

"We look forward to continuing to raise the bar in the poker affiliate space and beyond," Parvis went on, explaining how he believe that iBus approach to affiliate marketing and the group’s focus on innovation and quality can still play a great role in the industry in the years to come
