The 47th annual World Series of Poker may be less than two weeks away, but there's another event that will heat up Nevada in less than a week's time. That's Jason Somerville's 2016 Run It Up Reno, hosted May 24-30 at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
This year's festival plans to be better than ever, and it is highlighted by the $565 Main Event taking place May 27-30. The event will feature three starting flights — one on Friday, May 27 and two on Saturday, May 28 — and comes with a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Plus, PokerNews will be on hand to provide live coverage of the featured events, of which there are 16, including the Main Event, with buy-ins ranging from $85 to $565.
On Thursday, May 26, Somerville will be hosting a poker seminar at 12 p.m. for all to attend, and the Peppermill Poker Room will be jam packed with a wide variety of cash games running throughout the festival.
And outside of all the poker that's involved, Rob Cesternino of Rob Has a Podcast will be onsite to host his award-winning podcast live with special guests.
