Alex Jim Wins WSOP Circuit Foxwoods Multi-Flight Event for $134,570

Alex Jim

The second stop of the 2018/19 World Series of Poker Circuit season is currently playing out at Foxwoods, and it was there that one player notched a six-figure score over the weekend.

Alex Jim, 26, bested a field of 1,560 entries in Event #2: $600 NLH Multi-Flight to claim a $134,570 first-place prize and his first WSOPC gold ring.

“I’ve been grinding hard for a few years now, mostly online," Jim told WSOP officials after the win. "I started transitioning to playing a lot more live poker as of recently and it’s nice to finally close one out and get a nice result and decent score after getting close so many times.”

With 50 points on the stop’s leaderboard, Jim revealed that he plans to make a run at the Foxwoods Casino Champion title, which comes with a seat into the season-ending Global Casino Championship.

Prior to the win, Jim’s previous best score was $10,664 for finishing runner-up in the 2015 Foxwoods World Poker Finals Event #4: $300 NLH Big Stack.
