Taylor Paur Bags Overall Chip Lead After partypoker MILLIONS Vegas at Aria Day 1b

The partypoker MILLIONS Vegas at Aria field continues to grow after 221 players joined on Day 1b with just 136 advancing to Day 2.

Registration is still open until the start of Level 11 and the re-entry policy is as follows: players who have bagged for Day 2 will be permitted one further re-entry should they bust during the first two levels of play. Players are permitted one entry per day, therefore players who choose to enter at the start of Day 2 will not be able to re-enter should they bust during the first two levels of play.

Plenty of big names will be part of that Day 2 field including partypoker pro Sam Trickett who bought in late and managed to run up a stack of 161,500. Trickett has cashed in three partypoker MILLIONS Main Events, with his best finish being 30th place in the 2018 partypoker MILLIONS Grand Final in Barcelona.

partypoker pro Josip Simunic (342,000), as well as Team Online's Patrick Tardif (157,500) will also be advancing to Day 2 which starts on Sunday at 11 a.m. Fellow pro Jason Koon will have to re-enter having run ace-five suited into jacks late on. He flopped a flush draw but missed and was eliminated.

The chip leader after Day 1b is bracelet winner Taylor Paur with 580,500. Close behind him is Spaniard Sergi Reixach who chipped up early and remained in control throughout the day to bag 488,500. Jeremy Ausmus (456,500), Liu Kan (407,500), and Tsugunari Toma (388,000) round out Day 1b's Top 5.
