A third champion has been crowned in the GGPoker WSOPC and Aleksey "ImLuckPads" Savenkov (lead photo) emerged victorious in WSOPC #1: BIG $50 ($1M GTD) after defeating "QY707" in a short-lived heads-up duel. A massive field of 31,291 emerged in the first multi-flight event, which created a prize pool of $1,439,386 and Savenkov earned the lion's share worth $168,810.

Savenkov entered the nine-handed final table as the chip leader and it was no surprise that he faced "QY707" in heads-up, who was second in chips when the action resumed. The first recorded live cash of the Russian date back to 2017 and with this victory, he has nearly doubled his known earnings on the live poker circuit and the WSOP Online tournaments on GGPoker.

It was the ninth WSOP cash of Savenkov, who has three scores during the 2019/20 International Circuit at Casino Sochi to his name. His biggest career result came back in 2018 at the EPT Sochi for $18,507 but that has now been topped nearly ten-fold.

The fifth champion has been crowned during the GGPoker WSOP Winter Online Circuit. India's Pulkit Goyal earned the lion's share of the $593,370 prize pool in WSOPC #5: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha after coming out on top of a field of 1,041 entries, which consisted of 619 unique entries and 422 re-entries.

Only the top 179 spots were paid and Goyal defeated Loucas "Rage Monkey1" Kourtoumbellides in heads-up to claim the top prize of $82,052, while his opponent from South Africa had to settle for a consolation prize of $61,530.

Prior to this victory, Goyal had five WSOP cashes to his name including three cashes at the King's Resort in Rozvadov and two scores during the 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events earlier this year. He has eclipsed his recorded career cashes and follows in the footsteps of fellow Indian players Nipun Java, Abhinav Iyer, Nikita Luther, Aditya Sushant, and Kartik Ved, who all have a WSOP bracelet to their name.

Runner-up Kourtoumbellides was by far the most-aggressive player during the late stages and fell short of victory while the final table also featured Austria's Karl "Rossz" Schedlberger, Nikolay "boryan4ik" Prokhorskiy of Russia, and Brazil's Eduardo Pires.
