The first event of the WPTDeepStacks London is now in the books after a total of 357 entries including 65 re-entries got into the action in the WPTDeepStacks London #1 - $200,000 Opening Event at 888poker.

Latvia's "i2out" was crowned the winner after more than 8 1/2 hours in play which included a back-and-forth heads-up battle against United Kingdom's "Tedson89".

It appeared that "Tedson89" would be the player to beat after single-handedly eliminating six out of the seven players at the final table and entered heads-up with a lead. Instead, the British poker player had to settle for the juicy runner-up prize of $29,300 for his return on the $525 buy-in.

Meanwhile, "torresfan03" was on the podium with a third-place finish worth $21,300 and Russia's Maksim "MAMOHT_T" Viktorovich finished just behind in fourth place for $15,420.

The WPTDeepStacks London #1 - $200,000 Opening Event provided tons of value thanks to the $200,000 guarantee providing a generous $21,500 in overlay to the 48 players that min-cashed for at least $1,420.
