Big Names Shine as Sotiropoulos Wins Second Bracelet in WSOP Online Flip & Go
Three more bracelet winners were crowned in the GGPoker WSOP Online on Sunday, including the very first Flip & Go bracelet event.
Poland grabbed their second bracelet of the WSOP Online, while Brazil continued their hot run winning their third after Joao Simao and Thiago Macedo's earlier victories.

Georgios Sotiropoulos Wins Second Bracelet in Event #6: $200 FLIP & GO
It took just under three hours for Event #6: $200 FLIP & GO to crown a champion, and when the last chance saloon had closed for business it was Georgios Sotiropoulos reigning supreme over the 6,368 player field to claim his second bracelet, along with the $117,022 first-place money.
Sotiropoulos started the final table second in chips but eliminated Wing Tat Yeung on the very first hand to take the lead, and he never looked back, eliminating all but two players en-route to his victory.
Several other big names featured at the final table, including GGPoker TwitchSquad member Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker, WSOP bracelet winner Chris Moorman and former Super MILLION$ champion Wiktor Malinowski.

Final Table Action
It was French player Erwann Pecheux (pictured) leading the way when the final table was reached, but after Wing Tat Yeung lost with kings to the ace-jack of Sotiropoulos, the Greek player never looked back.
Markus Prinz and Quentin Roussey also both took an exit by the hand of Sotiropoulos shortly after. Just six were left and Chris Moorman decided to break the chain, dropping a couple of players himself when he took out both Pecheux and Wiktor Malinowski in the same hand.
Moorman, unfortunately, saw his momentum quickly vanish during four-handed play and found himself headed to the payout desk when his king-queen fell to a straight by Sotiropoulos. Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker put his short stack in with ace-ten but could not fend off the pure-running Greek pro who made it to heads-up.
Yao won two doubles to kickoff the heads-up portion of this event, and Yao went for a third double with king-ten versus the ace-six of Sotiropoulos. It looked like a new chipleader was afoot after the king-high flop. But an ace on the turn shifted the lead back to Sotiropoulos and a bricked river sealed the deal, eliminating Yao in second place for a respectable $90,371.

Eduardo Pires Wins GGPoker WSOP Online Millionaire Maker ($1,384,013)
The latest MILLIONAIRE MAKER Event is in the books here at the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online, and after the dust settled, it was Eduardo Pires who would close out a strong showing by Brazil, as they had three countrymen make the final table.
He would earn $1,384,013 after winning Event #7: $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER, an incredible return on investment for the $1,500 buy-in, beating out a staggering field of 5,437 entries.

Final Table Action
Brazil held three of the top four chip stacks when play got underway at the final table, and it wouldn't take long for chip leader Tauan Naves to knock out Oskar Prehm in ninth place.
Tomas Jozonis got his chips in the middle against Victor Begara, but was dominated to bust in eighth place before Lachezar Petkov followed him out the door. Naves extending his chip lead with play now six-handed.
Pires would score his first knockout of the final table next, spiking a three-outer on the river to eliminate fellow Brazilian Begara. Lukas Hafner then won two monster pots off of Paul Fisher to eliminate the Canadian in fifth place, before making it back-to-back eliminations with Xiongbin Zhang in fourth place.
Naves would bow out not long after in third place, setting up a heads-up duel between Hafner and Pires. The latter would open up a big chip lead after picking off a big bluff, and finished the tournament out in style, rivering a straight to best the flopped top pair of Hafner.

Kacper Pyzara Comes From Behind to Win Event #5: $315 Bounty Deepstack
Kacper Pyzara outlasted 44 other players to come from behind during heads-up play and defeat Evgeny "pro_nl" Kochubey on Day 2 of Event #5: $315 Bounty Deepstack to collect $79,789 for the win which included $43,504 in bounties.
The fifth event of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online drew 2,001 unique entries and 988 rebuys to generate a prize pool of $896,700.

Final Table Action
The final table of nine quickly became six after Vicente Delgado, Arkadiy "Kamsky" Tsinis, and Martina "Dopierdole" Ciklaminiova were all eliminated within minutes of one another in the first 30 minutes of final table action. Delgado’s bluff ran into pocket aces against eventual second-place finisher Kochubey. Tsinis lost a coin flip to third-place finisher Moti "rtm6789" Ohayon and Kochubey made quick work of Ciklaminiova’s pocket tens with pocket queens of his own.
Takahiko "tanyaodora3" Nishiyama finished in sixth place after losing out to Pyzara, with Takao "shimizu9" Shimizu coming fifth after coming up short on a flush draw against the pocket kings of Kochubey. Baoyang “baoyang666” Xu came into Day 2 as the chip leader and continued the run to an impressive fourth-place finish, losing with ace-four to the pocket sevens of Kochubey.
Action slowed down for the final three as Ohayon hung around with a short stack, managing to double up before eventually falling with ace-eight against the ace-king of Pyzara. Ohayon claimed $26,386 for third place and collected $5,801 in bounties.
Kochubey came into the final table as the chip leader and held onto it until heads-up, where Pyzara doubled up to take the lead with a pair of eights against the missed inside straight draw from Kochubey’s jack-seven. Pyzara applied pressure right away to cross the 100 million chip mark before Kochubey caught pocket kings twice to fight back before the final break.
When the final two players returned from break it was all Pyzara, who crossed the 100 million mark again with two pair on queen-ten against the jack-eight of Kochubey. Kochubey was able to double once more when he turned a pair of queens to beat the pocket jacks of Pyzara. Eventually, it was the pocket sixes for Pyzara that outlasted the ace-queen of Kochubey to earn him his first gold bracelet.
Monday's WSOP Online Action
There will be no GGPoker WSOP Online live reporting on Monday, August 9. However, there are still plenty of satellites on offer in the GGPoker client as well as the chance to win a seat to the WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas with their 'Road to Vegas' satellite programme.
