There's Still Time to Register for the PokerStars Sunday Million 18th Anniversary

Sunday Million

Despite kicking off yesterday, did you know you can still register for the $8 million guaranteed PokerStars Sunday Million 18th Anniversary? That's right, registration for one of online poker's most prestigious tournaments is still welcoming players to enter the fold as late registration closes at the start of Day 2, which gets underway at 6 p.m. WET.

To get involved, open the PokerStars client, pay the $215 buy-in before the second stage of the event begins, and voila—you have your seat guaranteed on the virtual felt.

$1M for First Place!

As it stands, 35,503 entries have been tallied, meaning that the Sunday Million Anniversary is sporting an overlay, providing extra value for all those late registrants. Even if the guarantee falls short, PokerStars is honoring its promise to award $1 million to the eventual champion.

And with just over 7,000 entries remaining in contention, most of the field has already been eliminated, meaning you have fewer minefields to navigate. What's not to like about that?

Those who opt for the Day 2 entry will receive a 20,000 starting stack, which equates to 10 big blinds when the action resumes. While spinning up a stack may be a tall task, remember that all you need is a chip and a chair! You have to be in it to win it.

Should the $215 buy-in be outside the parameters of your bankroll management, fear not. Mega Satellites are still taking place, and there are plenty of seats up for grabs.

There will be a $11 Mega Sat starting at 2:30 p.m. WET, which will send at least 100 players to the tournament. At 3:15 p.m., 150 players can qualify through the $22 Mega Sat, and the final hoorah for the Mega Sats shuffles up and deals at 4:35 p.m. A further 50 players will find their way into the season's showstopper through this route.
