APT Jeju 2025 Gears Up for Ten Days of Action w/ More Than $3M GTD

Fresh off a record-breaking stop in Incheon, the Asian Poker Tour is wasting no time in keeping its 2025 momentum rolling.

The spotlight now shifts to Jeju, where the tour returns for the second time this year with a festival that promises to be even bigger. APT Jeju 2025 takes place September 26 to October 5 at the Jeju Shinhwa World Resort, bringing together 103 events and nearly KRW 4.9 billion (~USD 3.4 million) in guarantees.

The Headliners

Featuring the iconic Lion Trophy events, massive high rollers, and crowd favourites like the Mystery Bounty and Zodiac Classic, APT Jeju 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious poker festivals ever held in South Korea.

Main Event – KRW 2.2 Billion GTD (~$1.58M)

The crown jewel of the festival kicks off on September 28 with four starting flights and plays to a champion on October 4.

With a KRW 2.6M (~USD 1,860) buy-in, the Main Event awards the iconic 24K Gold Lion Trophy along with seats to the season-ending APT Championship Main Event for the top three finishers.

High & Super High Roller Events

The big buy-in action begins early with the KRW 35M (~USD 25K) Superstar Challenge on September 26-27, followed by the Baby Superstar Challenge (KRW 10M/~USD 7K) on September 29-30.

Elite players will have their eyes on the KRW 15M (~USD 10,750) APT Super High Roller (Sept. 27-28) and the KRW 7M (~USD 5,000) APT High Roller (Oct. 4-5). Both events carry six-figure USD guarantees.

Zodiac Classic & Mystery Bounty

Two festival favourites return with the Zodiac Classic (KRW 500M GTD, Oct. 2-3) and the Mystery Bounty – Sponsored by Natural8 (KRW 350M GTD, Sept. 27-28), both of which have been smashing records across the tour.

Mini & Micro Main Events

For more accessible buy-ins, players can take a shot at the Mini Main Event (KRW 1M buy-in, KRW 300M GTD, Oct. 3-4) or close out the series with the Micro Main Event (KRW 500K buy-in, Oct. 5).

Seats to the APT Championship Up for Grabs

Beyond the prize pools, APT Jeju 2025 will also award seven seats to the $5 million guaranteed APT Championship Main Event.

Seats will go to the winners of the Main Event, Super High Roller, High Roller, Superstar Challenge, and Zodiac Classic, with the top three finishers of the Main Event also securing tickets.
