Spain & Brazil Dominate Opening WSOP Online Bracelet Events
The 2025 WSOP Online on GGPoker is already delivering in a big way. Just three events in, we’ve seen a Spanish double, a Brazilian repeat champion, and a massive rail sweat for ambassador Kevin Martin.
It all started with Spain’s Oihan Abarzuza taking down the $500 Kick-Off for his first bracelet, while Martin gave his fans a front row seat to his his maiden WSOP final table on stream.
Fellow Spaniard Sergi Reixach then broke through for his long-awaited first bracelet in the $300 Gladiators of Poker, banking nearly half a million. And to round out the opening stretch, Brazil’s Dante Goya proved his 2023 WSOP Paradise victory was no fluke by grabbing bracelet number two in the $2,100 NLH Bounty Championship.
Each bracelet winner also earned themselves a $30,000 package to WSOP Paradise in December.
Kevin Martin Reaches WSOP Kick Off Final Table
GGPoker ambassador Kevin Martin gave his fans a sweat to remember in Event #1: 6th Annual $500 WSOP Kick-Off, where he reached his first-ever WSOP final table while streaming to more than 10,000 viewers across YouTube and Twitch.
Martin entered the final nine with a healthy stack, but two tough hands saw him slip down the counts. First, a bounty hunt with pocket deuces ran into pocket jacks. Not long after, a queen-high bluff on the turn was met with a shove from Shi Hoi Chiu, leaving Martin short with just ten big blinds.
He managed to ladder past Vitaliy Pankov, who fell in ninth, before running ace-seven into ace-queen to bust in eighth place for $29,406.
The title went to Spain's Oihan Abarzuza, who outlasted the 4,047-entry field to secure the first gold bracelet of the series and $147,632 from the $1,922,325 prize pool.
