WSOP Circuit Harrah’s Atlantic City to Feature $500,000 Guaranteed Main Event
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) is in full swing and will be heading to the East Coast this month for WSOPC Harrah's Atlantic City.
The WSOPC Harrah's Atlantic City stop will run Aug. 14-25 and will consist of 18 ring events culminating with a $1,700 Main Event with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Buy-ins at the WSOPC Harrah's Atlantic City stop range from $400 to $1,700.
Circuit Action in Atlantic City
Action in Atlantic City will kick off with a $40,000 Opener event with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool on Aug. 14, followed by the first of four flights in the $400 Mini Main with a $200,000 guarantee.
Not long after that, the $400 NLH Monster Stack will take place with three starting flights in the $100,000 guaranteed tournaments.
The $500,000 guaranteed Main Event kicks off on Aug. 21 with the first of three starting flights. The event will play down to a winner on Day 2 on Aug. 24.
Other highlights throughout the series include a $400 Big O event, a $600 Black Chip Bounty NLH event, a $400 Grand Master 40/40/40 event splitting up players younger and older than 40, and a $400 Double Stack Closer that will wrap up the series on Aug. 25.
There's plenty of WSOP Circuit action as of late, with the Circuit team currently at OlyBet’s Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn, Estonia, where Jenny Westerlund shipped the Main Event for €200,200 and her first Circuit ring.
Before the Atlantic City stop kicks off, the WSOP Circuit will head to Cherokee, North Carolina for WSOPC Harrah's Cherokee taking place Aug. 7-18 and culminating with a $1,700 Main Event with a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
