Final Day Action
Following the final table eliminations of Seungmin Yu and Wangkei Lau late on Day 3, just six players returned for the final day of action.
Hyundong Lee began with a commanding 65 big blinds, ahead of Ting Wei Li on 40 big blinds. But it was Man Woo Park who surged early, doubling through Lee when his queens held against tens to scoop an 82 big blind pot.
Pak Kwan "Justin" Chan entered as the short stack with 23 big blinds and managed to ladder up when Youngjong Lee fell first. Both Li and Y. Lee flopped trip kings, but Li’s ace kicker held to send Y. Lee to the rail.
At the first break, Ci Hong Ho led the way with Li close behind. Park was in the middle of the pack, while Lee and Chan were short with under 15 big blinds. Chan doubled through Ho but couldn’t hang on—his ace-queen lost to Lee’s ace-king, and Ho cleaned up the rest of his stack soon after.
Park exited on the 45th hand of the day when Ho flopped a set of nines against his ace-jack, adding another elimination to Ho’s tally. Three-handed play saw Lee storm back, doubling through Li twice before spiking a three-outer to knock him out and set up the heads-up battle.
Ho gained the early edge after doubling with a flopped flush, but Lee quickly reclaimed control, stringing together a series of pots.
The tournament ended when the chips went in on a 6♥4♠3♠ flop. Ho held J♦5♦ for an open-ender, while Lee’s K♠10♠ had a flush draw. The A♠ on the turn sealed it for Lee, who pocketed $212,005 and a seat to the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
