Table Of Contents
The 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona festival has exploded into action, and it hasn't taken long for some of poker's superstars to find themselves in the winner's circle. Jeremy Ausmus, Brock Wilson, and Punnat Punsri are among the early champions, each topping a star-studded field to clinch a famous Spadey trophy and a bankroll-boosting prize.
Ausmus Triumphs in the €20,000 No-Limit Hold'em
A field of 63 entrants, including 18 re-entries, created a €1,210,104 prize pool in the €20,000 No-Limit Hold'em Unlimited Re-Entries event. The top eight players shared the seven-figure prize pool, but it was Jeremy Ausmus who won the largest prize, €318,606.
Klemens Roiter (€48,400) was the first finalist to bow out. Wai Kiat Lee (€60,500), Niklas Astedt (€78,700), and French veteran Jean-Noel Thorel (€102,900) joined Roiter on the rail.
The final four became three when Estonia's chess guru Ottomar Ladva (€133,100) crashed out in fourth, then three after the untimely demise of Gregorie Auzoux (€175,500).
Ausmus and fellow American David Coleman locked horns heads-up for what should have been a €369,004 top prize. However, the pair struck a deal to lessen the pay jumps, meaning Ausmus collected €318,606 after defeating Coleman one-on-one, leaving the runner-up to walk away with €292,398.

Punsri Takes Down €10,200 Mystery Bounty; Coleman a Bridesmaid Again
Thailand's Punnat Punsri added yet another live poker title to his already impressive resume by taking down the €10,200 Mystery Bounty event at the 2025 EPT Barcelona stop. Punsri came out on top of a 77-strong crowd, which included 12 re-entries, to take home €179,723.
Punsri's massive payout included €95,000 worth of mystery bounties, the most of anyone else in the field. Runner-up David Coleman claimed €87,500 from mystery bounty envelopes before falling in second place, for a total score of €170,577.
The Thai superstar now has more than $25.4 million in live poker tournament earnings, extending his lead at the top of Thailand's all-time money list. Kannapong Thanarattrakul is second on that list with $3,581,977 in winnings.

Spraggy Falls Just Short of EPT Barcelona Glory
PokerStars Ambassador Benjamin Spragg came agonizingly close to winning the €1,100 No-Limit Hold'em event, but ultimately had to make do with second-place behind the Netherlands' Selvakumaran Mahersh.
The €42,560 "Spraggy" received after a heads-up deal with his Dutch opponent is the second-largest live score of the popular streamer's car. Only his victory at the 2023 UKIPT Brighton Main Event (£69,120) beats this payday.
Other winners include Italy's Andrea Torri, who left 280 opponents in his wake on his way to collecting the €55,200 top prize from the €1,100 No-Limit Hold'em Seniors Event. Another Italian, Claudio Di Giacomo, won the €3,250 Seniors High Roller for €49,760, while Brock Wilson took home €129,420 from the €12,300 PokerStars Cuatro Knockout after PokerStars Ambassador Maria Konnikova finished fourth (€12,000).
