Table Of Contents
The $9 million guaranteed PokerStars WCOOP Boot Camp came to a thrilling conclusion on August 18, with the crowning of the series' two Main Events. Those Main Events commanded buy-ins of $109 and $1,050 and boasted $600,000 and $400,000 guarantees, respectively.
The $1,050 buy-in edition attracted 418 entrants, who built a $418,000 prize pool that the top 71 finishers shared. Day 1 saw the field reduced to a more manageable 28 hopefuls, including Tomi "elmerixx" Brouk, Nick "Bot35" Marchington, Vlad "dariepoker" Darie, and Scott "Aggro Santos" Margereson. However, those superstars fell before the nine-handed final table was set.
Three of the final nine hailed from Lithuania, so it was not surprising when one of those Lithuanians came out on top and claimed the $64,303 top prize.
Stevan "random_chu" Chew, Andreas "mrAndreeew" Berggren, and Austria's "[Removed:574]" crashed out, the latter breaking fifth for $18,522.
Three-handed play saw Lithuanian duo Matas "NoTilit" Cinikas and Gediminas "Gedis92" Uselis battle with Argentina's "TEENageTuRtL." Uselis bowed out in third for $34,539 before Cinikas exacted revenge for his fallen fellow countryman by defeating "TEENageTuRtL" in the heads-up battle. The runner-up padded their PokerStars bankroll with $47,127, leaving the worth champion to receive a $64,303 top prize in time for the upcoming 2025 WCOOP.

The $109 buy-in WCOOP Boot Camp Main Event drew in 6,961 entrants, resulting in a guarantee-busting $696,100 prize pool. The top 1,007 finishers saw a return on their investment, with the eventual champion turning $109 into $76,654.
Only 174 players made it to Day 2, including Swedish online poker legend Niklas "Lena900" Astedt. The 2024 WSOP Main Event finalist was doing well until he crashed out in 15th place, much to the relief of the other competitors.
All but two of the nine finalists saw a five-figure score land in their PokerStars accounts. The original top prize was $98,867, but the final three players struck a deal that massively reduced the pay jumps. The deal meant "Ned_bg" banked $59,611 for their third-place finish, "Iron_eggz" received $81,938 after busting in second place, while Brazil's "jppinheiiro" became $76,654 richer after coming out on top of this large-field event.
