For those looking to book their seats without paying full price, PokerStars is laying on a huge schedule of satellites with added value in the lead-up.
Bumper Weekend of Added Value Satellites
Players don’t need to pay full price to take a shot at WCOOP glory. PokerStars has lined up a packed satellite schedule over the next few days. For the $109 Main Event, there are three $5.50 Mega Satellites to watch out for.
The action begins on Friday, September 12 at 2:05 p.m. ET with 30 seats added, before ramping up to 50 added seats on Saturday, September 13 at the same time. The biggest of the lot takes place on Sunday, September 14 at 2:05 p.m. ET, where 100 seats will be awarded regardless of how many entries the prize pool creates.
Those aiming for the $1,050 Main Event have several ways to qualify on the cheap. Daily feeder satellites costing just $5.50 run at 1:15 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 2:15 p.m., and 2:45 p.m. ET, each offering five added seats into the $55 Mega Satellite. The $55 Mega Sat then runs daily at 3:30 p.m. ET and guarantees at least three seats into the $1,050 Main Event.
Even the $10,300 World Championship Main Event is within reach, with feeder satellites starting at just $2.20. These step events run daily and give players the chance to climb into the highest buy-in event of the series without breaking the bank.
Why "Added Seats" Matters
Unlike regular satellites where seats are purely generated from the prize pool, these specials have tickets put on top.
That means if the prize pool generates 20 seats and 30 are added, 50 players will win Main Event tickets. It’s genuine added value, and one of the best ways to get into the biggest WCOOP tournaments of the year for a fraction of the buy-in.
