WSOP Circuit Series Heading to Horseshoe Hammond Sept. 11

Seventeen World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) rings will be up for grabs starting Sept. 11 in the Chicagoland area.
Horseshoe Hammond in Hammond, Indiana, is the spot for the next WSOP Circuit series. The Circuit is currently in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Action began on Thursday with the first two of 18 ring events running until Sept. 15.
Series Highlights
The action at Horseshoe kicks off with a $400 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em tournament at 10 a.m. on Sept 11. A $50,000 guaranteed prize pool is promised. Opening day will also feature Day 1a of the $400 Mini Main Event, a $500,000 guaranteed no-limit hold'em event. There will be five Day 1 starting flights, with two daily for the following two days.
The $400 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em event for those aged 50 and above, on Sept. 14, also has a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000. There are two additional tournaments on the schedule with six-figure guarantees, including the $400 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em ($250,000 guaranteed prize pool) starting Sept. 15 with the first of three Day 1 sessions.
No-limit hold'em is the main game to be played in the WSOP Circuit Hammond series. But there will be three other poker variants available, including a $400 H.O.R.S.E. tournament on Sept. 17.
The $1,700 WSOPC Horseshoe Hammond Main Event begins on Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. This major event has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and three Day 1 starting flights, one per day through Sept. 20. All players who bag chips in any Day 1 starting flight will return for Day 2 on Sept. 21.
Event #17: $400 Closer No-Limit Hold'em, which guarantees at least $30,000 in the pot, will close out the series on Sept. 22.
