After four record-breaking stops already this season, the CNP is expecting another huge turnout in the Spanish capital and one that could rewrite the record books for a live event of this buy-in in Spain.
Last year’s Madrid Grand Final drew 1,642 Main Event entries, a record at the time. Thanks to the circuit’s continued growth and partnership with Winamax, those numbers are expected to be smashed once again in 2025.
Few players in the world mean more to Spanish poker than Adrián Mateos, and his return to the CNP stage is one of the stories of the year for the circuit.
The Madrid native won his first major title on this very circuit before going on to conquer the poker world, and now he’s back where it all started, this time as a Winamax Team Pro.
Leo Margets
Mateos will be joined by fellow Team Pro and 2025 WSOP Main Event final tablist Leo Margets, giving fans the chance to see two of Spain’s biggest stars compete on home soil as they take on what’s expected to be the largest CNP Main Event ever.
Over 800 Satellite Winners Already Qualified
Satellites for the Grand Final have been a huge success, with more than 800 Main Event seats already awarded and that number likely to top 1,200 by the time the first cards are dealt.
The €550 Main Event is expected to award more than €100,000 to the winner, and with satellites starting from as little as €2 on Winamax, players still have plenty of chances to qualify for a fraction of the price.
The festival runs for nearly two weeks and includes something for everyone thanks to affordable side events to the high-stakes €1,100 High Roller.
