On Sunday, November 24, the World Series of Poker removed NO LIMIT from its YouTube Channel. This was due to AI being used in post production without the consent of players.

NO LIMIT is an eight-part documentary series filmed at the inaugural World Series of Poker Paradise (WSOPP) in the Bahamas.

With over 650 hours of behind-the-scenes footage condensed into 30-minute episodes, the series captures the drama of the first-ever $25,000 buy-in Super Main Event with a $50 million guaranteed prize pool.

Unlike traditional poker coverage, NO LIMIT focuses less on hand analysis and more on the human stories behind the game.

Who is in No Limit?

The cast of NO LIMIT features poker legends, rising stars, content creators, and unlikely qualifiers. Household names like GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu and 17 time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth share the spotlight with Scott Seiver, who entered the event fresh off a historic WSOP run that included three bracelets and Player of the Year honors.

Fan favorites such as Alan Keating and Maria Ho bring charisma and personality, while high-stakes crushers like Jesse Lonis, Adrian Mateos, and Kristen Foxen showcase the relentless drive of modern professionals.

Content creators Alexander "Wolfgang Poker" Seibt and Lexy Gavin-Mather bridge the gap between poker culture and mainstream audiences, while online qualifiers Adam Malfitano and Eric Bonucchi-Bilow embody the dreamer’s spirit, one leaving a stable career to chase poker glory, the other qualifying for just $15.

Each episode of the series explores a different dimension of the tournament and its players. The show offers unprecedented access to poker’s guarded world. Viewers see the grinders’ path, where poker is survival and opportunity, and the emotional return of Liv Boeree, whose deep run becomes one of the series’ most memorable arcs.

NO LIMIT's Mission

The series is more about people than poker. In a statement provided to PokerNews, series creator Dustin Iannotti said the following:

NO LIMIT isn't a poker documentary. It's a human documentary that happens to feature people who play cards for a living.

The measure of success for this show in my mind isn't whether poker purists love it. I'd call it a success if a poker player can tell their mom to watch or tell their spouse to give it a chance, and then have them hear back that they "finally get why you love this game." It's whether someone who's never played a hand finds themselves rooting for a bracelet winner or a struggling grinder with equal passion.

Fair warning to the poker purists: If you're coming for hand analysis, you'll be disappointed.

But if you want to understand how poker was a way out of poverty for Jesse Lonis, or why Kristen Foxen still thinks about the hand she played in the Main Event 18 months ago.

That's the show we made.

The first-ever Super Main Event drew 1,978 runners across four live starting flights and three online flights. China's Yinan Zhou defeated a stacked final table that included Boeree and high-stakes crushers Justin Bonomo, Michael Addamo and Mustapha Kanit.

NO LIMIT Controversy

The WSOP pulled its NO LIMIT poker documentary after creator Dustin Ianotti admitted to using AI to fabricate quotes from featured players, including Alan Keating. The first six episodes were removed from YouTube as the WSOP announced they will re-edit the series to remove manipulated audio.

High-profile players such as Negreanu, Jennifer Tilly, Adam Hendrix and others condemned the AI deception, calling it “egregious” and “terrifying.” The controversy erupted after Keating publicly accused Ianotti of putting words in his mouth, sparking widespread backlash.

Episode 1: Money vs. Legacy

The series kicks off by asking the big questions: What really drives poker players? Is it the money or the legacy?

Daniel Negreanu opens up about the sacrifices he’s made to stay at the top, while Amanda gives us a glimpse of what that grind looks like from the outside.

Kristen Foxen talks about the mental battles that never show up on camera, and Faraz Jaka reminds us how much resilience it takes to keep coming back. Scott Seiver, after his WSOP three-peat, shows us what it means to chase greatness.

Episode 2: Welcome to Paradise

The Bahamas might look like paradise, but for the players, it’s anything but relaxing. The Negreanus balance the tension of high-stakes poker with the reality of life off the felt. Jaka and Alex Foxen show the preparation it takes to compete at this level, while Kristen Foxen reveals the mental toll of the game.

Then there are the qualifiers. Eric Bonucchi-Bilow, the quiet HR supervisor, and Adam Malfitano, the self-promoter who left a steady career to chase poker glory.

Episode 3: Next in Line

This episode shifts the spotlight to the new wave of poker personalities. Alexander “Wolfgang Poker” Seibt and Lexy Gavin-Mather represent the rise of cowntent creators who are changing how fans connect with the game. Faraz Jaka continues to grind, showing the persistence needed to survive in poker’s toughest arenas.

One of Jaka's students — Michael Dwyer — gets a feature and proves that talent runs deep beyond the headline names and age is just a number on the felt.

The episode centers around the future of poker the players and creators who are redefining what success looks like in a world where personality matters as much as performance.

Episode 4: Best in the World

Here we meet the crushers and the players who embody poker excellence.

Jesse Lonis shares how poker became his way out of poverty. Adrian Mateos, already one of the most decorated young players, shows the discipline and precision that make him a force at the table. Viewers also get a deeper look at the colorful Ren Lin, who is also chasing the recognition as one of the best in the world.

This episode is about the razor-thin line between triumph and heartbreak, and how even the most skilled players live on the edge of both.

Episode 5: Heroes and Villains

The fifth episode spotlights three larger-than-life figures in poker: Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, and Alan Keating.

Hellmuth is in classic form, unapologetically proud of his accomplishments and candid about what continues to fuel his drive after decades at the top.

Ho, a trailblazer and member of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame, delivers the most emotional moment of the series so far as she reflects on how her career was seen as a disappointment by her parents, pulling back the curtain on the personal cost of choosing poker.

Keating, meanwhile, stirs debate with his outspoken views on tournaments.
