Online poker weekend preview

What are your plans for the weekend? Do they involve firing up some poker tournaments online? If you answered yes, you must consider these exciting events running at PokerStars, 888poker, and WPT Global this Sunday.

$400,000 Guaranteed for a $75 Buy-in in the PokerStars EPT Season Online

The EPT Season Online exploded into action on PokerStars last weekend with the crowning of the festival's first 15 champions. More PokerStars players will experience the joy of becoming a champion this weekend as the EPT Season Online continues, including Episode 08-M: $75 Sunday Special.

The Sunday Special is a two-day No-Limit Hold'em tournament costing $75 to enter but boasting a $400,000 guarantee on its prize pool. That buy-in means at least 5,714 players must enter to hit that princely sum.

As the Sunday Special is a progressive knockout event, $33.18 of the buy-in goes into the regular prize pool, $35 is added to the bounty prize pool, and PokerStars retains $6.82 as rake.

Day 1 shuffles up and deals at 6:05 p.m. BST on October 19, wrapping up 7h 50 min after the first cards are pitched. Up to five re-entries are allowed during the first four hours, meaning winning additional seats from Sunday Special satellites is worthwhile.

If you make it through to Day 2, you'll need to be back in your seat by 6:00 p.m. BST on October 20. The long grind will be worth it, though, because first place should be worth around $48,000 before the accumulation of any progressive bounties!

PokerStars is running dozens of satellites for the $75 buy-in, $400,000 guaranteed Sunday Special. Those satellites can be found in the PokerStars lobby right now. However, the best-value satellites look to be happening over the weekend.

At 6:05 p.m. BST and 8:05 p.m. BST on October 18, you'll find $11 buy-in satellites that each guarantee 100x $75 seats. On October 19, at 4:05 p.m. BST, another 200 seats are guaranteed for an $11 investment.

Play Your Way Onto 888poker's Popular Twitch Stream

888poker $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event

Every Monday, 888poker streams the final table action from the $109 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty Main Event. If you fancy showcasing your poker skills to a vibrant audience, you need to first enter the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event, then navigate to the eight-handed final table. That may be easier said than done, but eight players manage it every week!

Cards are in the air from 6:00 p.m. BST on October 19, with late registration open for a very precise 204 minutes. 888poker allows unlimited re-entries during the late registration period, which ends after the completion of the 17th level. Once Level 18 begins, the mystery bounties come into play, and that's when the real fun starts.

While most of the mystery bounty payments are on the smaller side, six will be $1,000, and another two will be worth $3,000. One lucky 888poker player will open a golden envelope containing a $10,000 jackpot mystery bounty payment.

Find the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event in the 888poker lobby and click the satellites tab to reveal the available satellites. You'll see a handful of freerolls and some $1 buy-in satellites, giving you the chance to turn a tiny investment into a five-figure score.

Early Risers Can Play For a Share of $100,000 at WPT Global

WPT Global

Those of you who love lying in bed on a Sunday morning may want to set your alarms nice and early so you can play in the $110 Crazy Sunday PKO at WPT Global. Cards are in the air from 9:30 a.m. BST, and the WPT Global software estimates a champion will emerge approximately ten hours later.

Should you have a large enough bankroll or if you have won several tickets from satellites, WPT Global permits up to 10 re-entries during the first 20 levels. Those levels last 12 minutes each, meaning late registration slams shut at 1:42 p.m. BST. Anyone max-late-regging will enter the mix with 10 big blinds.

In addition to plentiful satellites for this event, WPT Global is running daily $10,000 freerolls throughout the week, plus a $100,000 Weekly Freeroll each Sunday. These free-to-play tournaments are part of the $2 Million Crazy Freeroll Series, adding more value to your poker sessions.
