A Proven Player-Friendly Structure
Players begin with a 30,000-chip starting stack and have three starting flights to bag and tag a stack for the Day 2 finale.

Each Day 1 flight plays down to the money, with 12.5% of the field paid, before survivors merge for Day 2 to battle for the trophy and title of THMC Cape Town Champion.
Levels run 30 minutes on Day 1 and extend to 40 minutes on Day 2, giving players more time as the stakes rise. Unlimited re-entry is available through Level 11, with late registration open until the end of that level.

Muaaz Gani Wins the 2024 THMC Cape Town Million
The 2024 THMC Cape Town Million doubled its guarantee and drew 299 entries, creating a R2,009,280 ($111,000) prize pool. In the end, Cape Town local Muaaz Gani captured the trophy after a heads-up deal with Sugen Singh, keeping the title in South African hands.
“Today was actually a day where I really wanted to have that trophy,” Gani told PokerNews after his win that also earned him a 2025 THMC travel package of his choice.
