PokerStars Open Returning to Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia in March
The return of PokerStars tournament poker action to the City of Brotherly Love has been revealed to PokerNews, and it will happen in March.
The poker room is a prime destination for major poker action and the perfect spot for poker players traveling from all across North America.
What to Expect from the PokerStars Open Philly Schedule
A full schedule hasn't been finalized for the PokerStars Open Philadelphia just yet. But we can share some highlights from the schedule, starting with a $10,000 guaranteed Women's Event and a $50,000 guaranteed PokerStars Cup.
The specific tournament dates haven't been released to us yet, but the series runs from March 16 to 23. There are going to be some juicy events during those eight days of poker action, with the biggest tournament of them all being the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Edward Leonard is the defending Main Event champion. Last year's winner beat a massive field of 1,154 entrants in the $1,100 buy-in tournament for $147,806 via a three-way chop.
