Tulsa Kicks Off 2026 RGPS Passport Season w/ 10 Rings & $100K Main Event
Table Of Contents
The RunGood Poker Series opens its 2026 Passport Season with a return to one of its most reliable stops as RGPS Tulsa runs January 20–25 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Tulsa has long been a staple on the RGPS schedule, and the first stop of the year brings a familiar mix. Affordable buy-ins, big fields, and plenty of chances to compete for rings across a six-day stretch that features 10 ring events.
$100K Main Event Anchors the Week
The festival builds toward the $800 RGPS Main Event, which comes with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and three starting flights.
The Main Event has consistently drawn strong numbers in Tulsa, and this year’s edition will once again be live reported by PokerNews from start to finish.
Away from the headline events, the schedule offers plenty of variety with Seniors events, bounty formats, one-day ring tournaments, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Flip and Go ring events. There's also satellites providing accessible paths into the larger buy-ins.

PokerNews Deepstack Brings $50K Guarantee
One event that stands out early on the schedule is the newly added PokerNews Deepstack Ring Event, a $400 buy-in tournament that carries a $50,000 guarantee and continues the ever-growing relationship between RGPS and PokerNews.
The event features a 25,000 starting stack and two starting flights, with Flight A getting underway on January 21 at 11:00 a.m., followed by Flight B later that day at 6:00 p.m. The top 12.5% from both flights return on January 22 to play down to a winner and a ring.
In addition to the guarantee, the PokerNews Deepstack will also serve as the launch point for a new leaderboard promotion tied to the RGPS schedule. Full details have not yet been released, but more information will be shared next week.
Player of the Year Points in Play
RGPS Tulsa also represents an important stop in the ongoing 2025/26 RunGood Player of the Year race.
Players earn points based on their finishes in publicly open RGPS events using the Global Poker Index, with the leaderboard running through June 1, 2026.
At the end of the season, the top five players will receive custom Player of the Year rings and invitations to the Hall of Rings celebration at Thunder Valley Casino, which includes hotel accommodations and a travel stipend. The top-ranked player will also be immortalized on the traveling RunGood Player of the Year banner.
