Collect the Stamps, Win the Rings: RGPS Announces 2026 "Passport Season"
Table Of Contents
The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 calendar, announcing the "Passport Season" tour. Spanning from January through August, the upcoming season features 17 stops across the United States, promising a blend of high-stakes excitement and the community-focused atmosphere that has become the tour's hallmark.
The Passport Season invites players to "collect stamps" as they travel the country in search of prestigious RunGood Rings and exclusive player rewards.
"This season represents everything RunGood stands for," said Tana Karn, Founder and President of the RunGood Poker Series. "Great poker, welcoming communities, and rooms that feel like home. The Passport Season is about the journey as much as the destination."
Not only this, but PokerNews will be on-site at every main event throughout the season as the Official Live Reporting partner of the RGPS.
A Coast-to-Coast Journey
The tour kicks off in late January at the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before heading to the fan-favorite Lodge in Austin, Texas. The schedule maintains a rigorous pace through the spring, hitting major poker hubs including Atlantic City’s Borgata and MGM National Harbor near Washington, D.C.
A notable highlight of the 2026 circuit is the packed month of March, which features five different stops ranging from the Mississippi Delta to the Pacific coast.
The season will reach its climax in late summer with a massive Season Finale at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California.
The 2025/26 Player of the Year Race
In partnership with the Global Poker Index (GPI), the 2025/26 RunGood Player of the Year race is already in full swing. Running through June 1, 2026, the leaderboard tracks performance across all open RGPS events.
The stakes for the leaderboard are high: the top five ranked players will be awarded custom-designed Player of the Year rings and an invitation to the exclusive Hall of Rings celebration at Thunder Valley Casino, which includes a hotel stay and a $500 travel stipend.
The ultimate winner will join the ranks of past champions like Mikey Johns (2024/25) and Brian Winter (2023/24) by being eternalized on the tour's traveling POY banner.
The Dream Seat Invitational
Also returning for 2026 is the Dream Seat Invitational. This unique event brings together the "best of the best" from the RunGood tour to compete against the elite of the PokerGO Tour (PGT).
The prize for the Invitational is life-changing: a "Dream Seat" into the $1,000,000 PGT Championship Freeroll. The reigning champion, Ed Miller, won the 2025 RunGood Dream Seat Invitational, securing his spot at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas this January to compete for his share of the million-dollar prize pool.
