Grosvenor UK Poker Open 2026

The fourth edition of the Grosvenor UK Poker Open is right around the corner, with the first tournaments shuffling up and dealing at the Grosvenor G Casino in Coventry on February 5. The festival runs until February 17 and includes a £1,500 buy-in Main Event carrying a massive £1 million guaranteed prize pool.

Although the first Grosvenor UK Poker Open event starts on February 5, the casino is running £165 satellites to the Main Event at 7:00 p.m. GMT on February 1 and February 3, plus £75 satellites to the G300 and Mini Main on February 2 and February 4.

February 5, at 6:00 p.m. GMT, is when the real action starts: Day 1a of the No-Limit Hold'em G300, a £100,000 guaranteed tournament. This tournament features four flights, including a turbo-structured Day 1d on February 7, before wrapping up a day later on February 8.

The first of three flights in the £340 Mini UK Open commences at 2:00 p.m. GMT on February 8. It comes with a £150,000 guarantee, but the eventual prize pool should be much larger if the 2025 edition is anything to go by. Last year, 912 players created a £259,920 prize pool. Philip Tate came out on top and walked away with £45,000.

A £1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller on February 10 and the start of the £2,500 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller on February 11 ramp up the action and set the tone for the massive £1 million guaranteed UK Poker Open Main Event.

Following the Main Event is the £550 UK Open Cup; Keith Littlewood won the equivalent tournament at the recent GUKPT London for the fourth time. There's then the £220 Seniors and the £200 Live Closer before the festival heads online to Grosvenor Poker for the £110 buy-in, £20,000 guaranteed Online Closer.

The 2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Open Main Event is a £1,500 buy-in (£1,350+£150) tournament with a colossal £1 million guaranteed prize pool. Day 1a, the first of four flights, kicks off at 12:00 p.m. GMT on February 11. Subsequent flights start at 1:00 p.m. GMT on February 12, 12:00 p.m. GMT on February 13, with a turbo Day 1d running at 9:00 p.m. GMT later that day. There's a last chance Day 1e turbo starting at 10:00 a.m. GMT on February 14, before Day 2 at 2:00 p.m. GMT. The eventual champion will lift the winner's trophy aloft sometime on February 15.

Grosvenor expect such a significant turnout that they are utilizing Hall 4 of the CBS Arena for the last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the festival, one of the same halls needed when the gargantuan Goliath is in town.

Trung Moc won the inaugural Grosvenor UK Poker Open Main Event back in 2023. On that occasion, 1,086 entrants created a £1,407,400 prize pool, and Moc banked £325,190, which remains the largest-ever prize awarded in a Grosvenor-run event.

The following year, Nicholas Marchington came out on top of a 620-strong crowd and won £146,560 of the £803,520 prize pool.

Andrew Hulme is the reigning champion, having left 950 opponents in his wake in 2025, and receiving a cool £219,720 of the £1,219,660 prize pool. Hulme is highly likely to compete in the 2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Open and attempt to defend his title.
