There are just 100 days to go until the Battle of Malta Summer Edition returns to Casino Malta from May 27 to June 3, 2026, and this year, the island festival levels up in a big way.

For 2026, the overall festival guarantee has doubled from €500,000 to a huge €1,000,000, cementing the Battle of Malta’s place as one of Europe’s most player-friendly live poker stops.

With a packed schedule, multiple marquee guarantees, and a week of wall-to-wall action on the Mediterranean, the countdown to the summer series has officially begun.

Bounties, Shots, and Side Action

The €100,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty “Siege of Malta” returns, bringing the added sweat of envelope draws alongside what's expected to be a massive field.

There’s also a €200,000 guaranteed High Roller at €1,100, for those looking to test themselves in a tougher crowd without straying too far into nosebleed territory.

Beyond that, the schedule has something for everyone. Satellites into all major events. Turbo formats. Mixed games. A €150 Ladies Event.

Players can build a full week around the festival or dip in and out depending on how things go.

And in Malta, things tend to go late.

All Eyes on the Main Event

Strip everything else away and the Battle of Malta still revolves around one tournament.

The €600 Main Event, “Let The Battle Begin,” carries a €700,000 guarantee and once again forms the backbone of the entire week.

There are multiple Day 1 flights spread across the opening days, giving players room to plan their approach. Some will fire early and reload if needed. Others will arrive later and take one shot. A few will satellite their way in.

At this buy-in level, it pushes the event beyond being just another mid-stakes stop. A deep run can change a summer, making the final table could redefine someone's year and career trajectory.

100 Days to Go — Time to Plan

With the countdown underway, players are encouraged to secure their accommodation early.

More updates, player information, promotions, and on-site activities will be announced as the festival approaches.
