This High-Stakes Pro is Dominating the 2026 PokerGO Cup in Las Vegas
Brock Wilson won his second event of the 2026 PokerGO Cup in Las Vegas as he overcame a massive chip lead by Shannon Shorr in Event #6: $10,000 NLH to win $210,000.
Wilson, a Vegas-based high-stakes pro, who previously won Event #4: $5,000 NLH for $112,720, nabbed his fourth overall PokerGO title and shot to the top of the series leaderboard.
The sixth event on the PokerGO Cup schedule — the second offering at the $10,000 price point — drew 70 runners for a prize pool of $700,000.
The final table also included longtime grinder Qinghai Pan (6th - $38,500), WPT end-boss Darren Elias (5th - $52,500), young poker pro Nicholas Seward (4th - $70,000), and fellow high-stakes Vegas pro Chris Hunichen.
Wilson had no time for a winner's interview — or even winner's photo — as he hopped straight into Event #7 at the eleventh hour of late registration. But that didn't stop PokerNews from sticking around long enough to get his take on winning two events in the same week.
“I play in these events a lot and I really enjoy them, and it’s cool sort of when everything comes together and works out great," he told PokerNews. "I got heads-up against two friends, Shannon and David Coleman, it was really cool to beat them both on a big stage.

Fun, Fun, Fun in the PokerGO Studio
There were six players who returned for Day 2 after the late-night elimination of Brandon Wilson in seventh place, and it didn't take long for Pan to fall as The Fisherman's jacks couldn't stay ahead of the eventual champion's Big Slick.
Wilson also knocked out Elias and Seward to enter three-handed play with a big chip lead, but things shifted as three-time bracelet winner Shorr went on a surge that saw Hunichen falling in third place.
Shorr had a seven-to-one chip lead heading into heads-up play, but everything went Wilson's way as he quickly flipped the script. Shorr was down to a big blind that he spun up through multiple doubles, but he couldn't take his run any further as Wilson secured his second series title.
The two victories, plus a small cash in Event #5, give Wilson $253,420 in earnings so far at the 2026 PokerGO Cup.
Gold only knows how Wilson overcame Shorr's chip lead, but he now has enough cash to buy a little deuce coupe, pay for a surfin' safari or to take things slow down in Kokomo.
The final tablists of this event are grinders in every sense of the word. No sooner than they busted at the final table did players like Elias, Pan, Shorr and Wilson hop into Event #7.
