The $180 milliion guaranteed WSOP Super Circuit exploded into life online at GGPoker on March 1. Six of the 18 WSOPC ring-awarding events have crowned their worthy champion, with five of those champions taking home six-figure scores. A couple of days ago, the $525 Mystery Millions concluded. Usually, a $525 buy-on tournament wouldn't hit the headlines, but that's because they don't often attract a 21,891-strong crowd!

Thanks to GGPoker hosting dozens of Day 1s, 21,891 players bought in, creating a guarantee-busting $10,945,500 prize pool.

Day 2 saw 1,957 players return to the GGPoker tables, with the huge mystery bounties entering the mix. Although a $1 million top bounty was slated to be won, the largest bounty haul PokerNews found in the tournament's lobby was $870,735 that 52nd-place finisher "SBasin" received. Several other players helped themselves to six-figure worth of mystery bounty payments, including 45th-place finisher Yannick Schneider, whose bounty haul tipped the scales at $495,350.

Once the Mystery Millions field had been cut to the nine-handed final table, $70,816 was the smallest regular prize pool payout anyone could win. That sum, pluys $10,780 in bounties, went to "Nicroman99" when they fell in ninth.

"Hyperturbo123" and "Kuromi27" were the next grinder's relieved of their chips. Their eighth- and seventh-place finishes came with prizes of $107,741 and $128,022, including bounties.

Sixth place went to "ufuk kortan," a finish worth $175,585, with "No1YT" crashing out in fifth for a $230,264 haul. "No1YT" was willing to sell up to 11.8% of their action via the GGPoker in-built staking platform, but only managed to sell 2%. "khalnayak69" bought 1% and received $2,302.64 for their investment.

More than $2 million in prize money and bounties were waiting to be won when only four players remained. That quartet of stars decided to pause the tournament clock and discuss a deal. Negotiations ended with a deal in place, one that meant they would win between $416,838 and $523,476, plus the last handful of mystery bounty payments.

Cypriot Dimitrios Michailidis was the main beneficiary of the deal because he came unstuck in fourth. Malaysia's "Wishwish" busted in third for a total prize worth $536,246, leaving Argentina's Pablo Nazar heads-up against Alexei Ivashchenko.

Nazar fell at the final hurdle and had to console himself with $536,246, which left Ivashchenko as the last player standing, and the recipient of a $502,709 score plus a coveted gold WSOP Circuit ring.
