Patrick Leonard SCOOP

Patrick Leonard became the all-time PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) leader on Saturday, claiming two titles in under 10 minutes to reach a record 15 victories in the series.

Leonard, playing under the handle "pads1161," captured back-to-back 8-Game titles in SCOOP events 107-M and 107-H, overtaking Simon Mattsson and Jerry Odeen to become the all-time leader in online poker’s flagship spring series, which recently surpassed $1.5 billion in total payouts.

Saturday's dual victory is the crowning moment in what has been a remarkable 2026 SCOOP for Leonard, widely considered to be one of the best online players in the world, who has won five titles in just a few short weeks.

And with three days remaining, including the marquee SCOOP Main Events kicking off on Sunday, there’s every chance the Brit isn’t finished yet.

Record-Breaking Leonard Proves the Mixed Game Master

That Leonard's Saturday SCOOP double came in mixed-game events will be little surprise to anyone familiar with the man from Newcastle, England, who just last month finished 2nd to Yuri Dzivielevski in the $15,000 Big Bet Mix at the 2026 PGT Mixed Games Series for $166,950.

He kicked off his SCOOP weekend with a win in SCOOP 107-M: $109 8-Game, $15K Gtd, an event that smashed its guarantee with a $26,400 prize pool and earned Leonard $5,088.96.

Just nine minutes later, he followed up with victory in SCOOP 107-H: $530 8-Game, $20K Gtd, which also exceeded its guarantee with a $34,000 prize pool, taking home $9,176.97 and banking more than $14,000 in less time than it takes to drink a cup of coffee.

That double was enough to leapfrog Odeen and Mattsson, putting Leonard firmly atop the all-time SCOOP leaderboard on a record 15-titles.
