Poker Dream Brings MYR 5M ($1.25M) GTD Main Event to Malaysia
The Poker Dream Tour is heading back to Malaysia this spring as Poker Dream 21 takes over Resorts World Genting Highlands from April 9–20, 2026, bringing nearly two weeks of tournament action to one of Asia’s most popular poker destinations.
Located just outside Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands has become a key stop for poker in Southeast Asia.
The festival will be anchored by a MYR 5,000,000 (~$1.25 million) guaranteed Main Event, highlighting a schedule filled with mystery bounty tournaments, mixed game events, and several high roller competitions.
Poker Dream 21 Full Schedule
MYR 5,000,000 ($1.25M) Guaranteed Main Event
The big attraction of Poker Dream 21 is the MYR 3,200 (~$800) buy-in Main Event, which carries the festival’s headline MYR 5 million (~$1.25 million) guarantee.
The tournament will feature a wide range of starting flights to give players plenty of opportunities to bag chips, including regular, turbo, hyper-turbo, and flipout Day 1s. Survivors from each starting flight will return later in the festival to compete for the title and a share of the seven-figure prize pool.
Packed Schedule with Mystery Bounties and High Rollers
Poker Dream 21 features a diverse schedule of more than 50 tournaments, offering a mix of No-Limit Hold’em events, mystery bounty formats, and mixed games.
Some of the key events on the schedule include:
- Mystery Big Bounty – MYR 2,100 (~$525) buy-in with MYR 400,000 (~$100,000) guaranteed
- Mystery Bounty Deepstack – MYR 2,100 (~$525)
- High Roller – MYR 12,000 (~$3,000) buy-in
- Super High Roller – MYR 20,000 (~$5,000) buy-in
- Mystery Bounty High Roller – MYR 10,000 (~$2,500) buy-in
Mixed game players will also find several options during the series, including events such as Seven Card Stud, Triple Draw Lowball, and mixed draw formats, while specialty tournaments like Heads-Up and Seniors events add further variety to the lineup.
Cash games are also expected to run throughout the festival.

Poker Dream has introduced a number of early bird incentives for players planning to attend the Genting stop.
Players who pre-register for the Main Event can receive hotel discounts of up to 25% across several Resorts World Genting properties, including First World Hotel, Resort Hotel, and Highlands Hotel.
Discount levels depend on the Main Event buy-in:

The first 100 players to enroll in the Main Event will also receive additional benefits, including:

Poker Dream is also offering a First Weekend Special Deal for players entering events early in the series.
