Allen Kessler is taking his Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker to Atlantic City for the first time next month for a festival that will feature two championship events.
The CMSOP stop will take place from Nov. 4-14 at the Borgata, home to many of the biggest poker events on the East Coast, and will culminate with a $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. Championship and $1,100 T.O.R.S.E. Championship with respective guarantees of $25,000 and $35,000.
Mix Things Up in Atlantic City
In addition to the two championship events, the mixed game series will consist of several $600 buy-in events in multiple variants. It offers something for all mixed game players, with Omaha, Stud and Triple Draw games all being represented.
The series will kick off on Nov. 4 with $600 Omaha H/L, while other $600 events scattered through the schedule include $600 T.O.R.S.E., $600 Stud H/L (8 Or Better) and $600 T.O.E., and $600 Chainsaw's 8-Game Mix.
The first championship event, $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, will kick off on Nov. 5 before playing to a winner the following day. The $35,000 guaranteed T.O.R.S.E. Championship Day will get underway later in the series on Nov. 12.
The festival will close out on Nov. 14 with $600 Triple-Triple Draw, an event consisting of Ace-5, Deuce-7 and Badugi.
Kesser's mixed game series has drawn some big names in the past, including WSOP Player of the Years Josh Arieh and Jeff Madsen and former GPI Mid-Major Player of the Year Nick Pupillo. Kessler himself won one of his own events earlier this year as during a festival at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The mixed game festival will take place during the Borgata Fall Poker Open, a series with over $4 million in guarantees that PokerNews will be live reporting and providing on-site coverage.
