SnapShove

One of the earliest and best poker apps was SnapShove, which was created by renowned poker player Max Silver and a team of poker experts. However, the app essentially stagnated since the pandemic, but that’s about to change.

In recent years, Silver has shifted his focus toward family life and other business ventures, so for 2026, he has entrusted the future of SnapShove to a new leadership team of two unnamed poker industry veterans with a combined 36 years of experience.

“This transition represents more than a change in ownership. It reflects a renewed commitment to SnapShove’s original mission: delivering accurate and practical tools that help players make better decisions,” read an announcement on snapshove.com.

SnapShove was originally designed to create a powerful, easy-to-use tool that helps players master one of the most critical areas of tournament poker – short-stacked decision-making. Powered by over a million game simulations and Nash Equilibrium-based data, the app quickly became a trusted resource for serious tournament players worldwide.

As the new leadership shared:

“Just as poker is a game of constant adaptation, SnapShove must continue to evolve. Under new ownership, our focus is on:

  • Platform Stability and Performance
  • User Experience Enhancements
  • New Features for Tournament Players
  • Restructure Pricing and Subscription Offerings

Our goal is to strengthen the foundation of the app while building new tools that meet the demands of today’s tournament environment.”

Other key improvements include a rebuilt website, simplified subscription tiers, and lower pricing across web and app platforms.
