The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is going south with its Golden Expedition season for RGPS Golden Expedition New Orleans at Caesars New Orleans, a series that will offer $330,000 in guarantees.
The RGPS Golden Expedition New Orleans stop, taking place Sept. 3-13, will feature 14 ring events across 11 days, culminating with an $800 buy-in Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee attached. PokerNews will be live reporting the Main Event.
Win a Ring in New Orleans
The RunGood stop in New Orleans will begin with $400 Series Kickoff, a two-day event with a $100,000 guarantee and five starting flights to choose from.
Other series highlights include the $200 Tag Team event, $250 Seniors Event, $300 Ladies event and $300 Big Stack NLH ring event. And more the mixed game players, there will be a $400 Pot-Limit Omaha event.
The $800 Main Event will get underway on Sept. 11 with the first of four starting flights. The $200,000 guaranteed event will play to a winner on Sept. 13, the same day that $400 Black Chip Bounty and $200 Sendoff Turbo NLH events will close out the series.
Last Time in New Orleans
The RunGood team returned to New Orleans last year for the first time since 2015 for the RGPS Grand Prix New Orleans stop.
The RGPS Grand Prix New Orleans Main Event drew 307 runners and had a prize pool of $200,000. It saw Jeremy Gaubert winning $45,897 and his first RunGood ring as he defeated heads-up opponent Zackary Poll.
Last year's final table also included Brian Senie (3rd - $22,343), Charles Bartlett (4th - $16,547), and Ronald Inman (5th - $12,431).
