Ben Tollerene added to his well-earned reputation as one of the best tournament players on the planet in the early hours of Wednesday morning in South Korea, taking down the $50,000 Turbo Bounty Quattro at the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II.
The American captured $412,000 for his victory, along with an additional $240,000 in bounties, making a superb heads-up comeback against Daniel Rezaei to secure the title. The victory adds to another successful Triton series for the crusher, who has cashed four times this stop, including three final tables.
Speaking to Triton following his victory, Tollerene said, "I'm having a lot of fun, I feel very motivated and I'm really not even that happy with how I'm playing, so I'm feeling motivated to get better and keep working."
"I feel good, I'm sad there's no PLO, I want to play more... I'm just trying to take good care of my sleep, get to the gym. I've been doing this a long time, it feels kind of normal. I feel fine."

Tollerene Turns It Around
There were 35 entries in the one-day event, with many of the greatest stars in world poker, including Phil Ivey, Adrian Mateos and Mikita Badziakouski, all shooting at the quickfire tournament. Payouts were confirmed for the final six, with nine $60k bounty prizes available beginning at the final table.
The first significant action came when Ivey bubbled the final-table bounty payouts, his pocket threes bettered by Daniel Dvoress' rivered flush. Fellow crushers Stephen Chidwick and Dvoress himself then followed soon after at the hands of Rezaei and Tom Fuchs to bring the tournament to the stone bubble.
Emilien Pitavy would be the one to burst it, as in a three-way all-in he covered Mike Watson, who tripled up, but not Rezaei, who scored yet another bounty envelope and ensured the remaining six were all guaranteed a payday.
Rezaei held the chip lead over Tollerene among an incredibly talented final six, but they'd soon become four, with Tollerene scoring a stunning double knockout not long after the final table began.
After getting it all-in preflop, Watson 4♥4♦, Fuchs K♦5♦, and Tollerene A♠8♠ went to the runout of Q♣A♥2♠Q♠K♣, where everyone made two pair, but Tollerene found the best of it with his ace, rocketing the American to the top of the counts and pocketing two bounty envelopes in the process.
PLO God Eelis Parssinen was next to depart at the hands of Biao Ding in fourth, before it was the Triton Invitational runner-up's turn to hit the rail when Rezaei eliminated Ding to set the final two.
That gave Rezaei a big lead over Tollerene of around 4:1 going into heads-up, and a Triton champion versus Triton champion showdown was a mouthwatering prospect for the $412,000 first prize.
Tollerene was all-in for his tournament life on a number of occasions before finding a crucial double with six-five against Rezaei's queen-six to turn the tide decisively in the American's favor.
And when the Austrian ran A♠5♠ into A♥K♥ a few hands later, it was all over. Neither player connected with the dry board, but Tollerene's superior kicker sealed the deal, handing him the $412,000 top prize, the bounty, and a fifth Triton title of a glittering career.
