One of Europe's longest-running and most popular poker festivals, The International Poker Open, is returning to Dublin’s Bonnington Hotel this year from October 20-25. Sponsored by Unibet for a fourth time, the IPO has ran annually since 2007, with last year's series taking place online.

With the return of live poker, it is hotly anticipated that this year's prize pool will eclipse €250,000. The IPO averages a thousand entries for its Main Event, with players from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe and further afield expected to attend.

Satellite to the Main Event for Just €1

Plenty of Unibet poker players will be securing their place at the IPO through winning their seats online, with players being to qualify from a single euro. Satellites got underway last week on the online poker platform and have at least two €1 Step 1 "Flip" satellites running a day. As well as this, there will be a further two Step 2 €5 No Limit Hold'em re-entry tournaments taking place each day. These €5 will guarantee at least six seats into the weekly €33 qualifier with all the feeder satellites featuring rebuys and add-ons.

The inaugural €33 qualifiers kicked off on Sunday, September 12, with weekly qualifiers guaranteeing nine seats to the International Poker Open Main Event. These will take place every Sunday at 9pm CET until mid-October. It is not something to miss as close to 100 Main Event players secured their seats playing on Unibet.
