Gal Yifrach is a professional poker player from Los Angeles with over $2.9m in live tournament earnings as per The Hendon Mob, including one WSOP bracelet and multiple high-profile tournament scores. The largest victory of Yifrach's career came at the 2025 NAPT Las Vegas Main Event, where he defeated Thomas Boivin heads up to win $543,025.
“I was happy to come here because it was a good reason. It was my birthday on the 8th, so I figured, you know, I’ll come to Vegas. I’ll play the tournament,” Yifrach told PokerNews in a winner's interview after his NAPT Main Event win.
“I enjoy playing cash, obviously, but tournaments are a lot of fun when you run deep. And it’s very miserable when you run deep but not deep enough. But everything worked out. I don’t know if it’s birthday run good, if it’s anything else. My mom came here, surprising me for my birthday. So everything was perfect. I can’t complain.”
Off the felt, he has been involved in a legal case dating back to 2018 concerning allegations of operating an illegal gambling business and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Yifrach remains active on the tournament circuit, a regular fixture in tournaments in his native state of California as well as in Las Vegas for the big poker festivals.
