A Quiet Level

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Having lost eight players in the first two levels of the day, the third of the day has gone largely event-free. Krzystof Pregowski opened to 83,000 and was shoved on by Robert Lim. Pregowski showed pocket twos.

"Next time you do that, I'm shoving on you whatever I have," said Pregowski.

The very next hand Pregowski again opened to 83,000 from early position and Lim thought about his decision. Having inquired as to Pregowski's stack in the previous hand he repeated it here.

"Oh my God it's exactly the same as last hand, I didn't call," said Pregowski. Lim eventally folded.

Chip Counts at the Break

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Here are the chip counts for the remaining seven players still in the 888Live Easter Edition. Among them is start-of-day chipleader Terry Jordan with 4,000,000 in chips and 888 Qualifier Mark Harding.

The players are on a short break and will return in around 20 minutes.

Graeme Bester Eliminated in 8th Place (£3,535)

Graeme Bester - 8th Place
Graeme Bester - 8th Place

It folded around to Graeme Bester in the small blind who moved all in for his last 161,000. Ciprian Paunescu called in the big blind.

Bester: {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Paunescu: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Spades} and Bester was eliminated.

Egidijus Alsauskas Eliminated in 9th Place (£2,650)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Egidijus Alsauskas - 9th Place
Egidijus Alsauskas - 9th Place

Egidijus Alsauskas was all in for 2,000 preflop. Terry Jordan limped under the gun, as did Mark Harding from the next position. Krzystof Pregowski checked in the big blind.

"I check dark because Terry is here," said Pregowski, as the flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Jordan bet 20,000 and Harding called.

"I am folding because Terry is here," said Pregowski. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and Jordan bet 65,000 and Harding called again.

"You must have something," said Jordan. The river was the {5-Hearts}. Jordan bet 250,000 and Harding called.

Jordan showed {k-}{8-} for two pair, but Harding held {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a better two pair. "Nice flop for me," said Alsauskas showing {q-Spades}{4-Spades}, but he was eliminated in 9th Place.

Egidijus Alsauskas Crippled by Robert Lim

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Robert Lim moved all in from the hijack for 302,000. It folded to Egidijus Alsauskas in the big blind who called and tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Lim held {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The flop came {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The {a-Clubs} on the turn gave Lim a flush draw, and the river {2-Clubs} completed that draw to leave Alsauskas with just 2,000 chips remaining.

Chipleader Jordan Not Infallible

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On a {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop Krzystof Pregowski bet 100,000 and Terry Jordan called. Pregowski repeated this exact action on the turn {10-Hearts} and the river {4-Diamonds} and he showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}. Jordan showed {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Jordan muttered something about the heart on the river, and Pregowski replied: "I wouldn't have liked you then!"

Ciprian Paunescu Doubles Through Robert Lim

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ciprian Paunescu opened to 45,000 from middle position. Terry Jordan called in the cutoff before Robert Lim moved all in for around 750,000 from the big blind. Paunescu called and Jordan folded.

Paunescu showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and was ahead of the {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} of Lim. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Paunescu doubled up.
