The €80+8 The Thunder Side Event got underway at 8 p.m. local time and the initial guarantee of €10,000 was crushed thanks to 235 entries, including 36 re-entries, which created a prize pool of €18,800. The tournament was scheduled to play down to a winner the same night, but once the final table was reached at 5 a.m. local time, all remaining hopefuls bagged and tagged their chips.
Ten players returned to the tables of Casino Barcelona at 12 p.m. local time and it took just over an hour to get down to the last four. Furthermore, a Turbo Satellite for the Opening Event just kicked off and "The Breeze" with a buy-in of €100+10 and a guaranteed prize pool of €20,000 starts at 8 p.m. local time.
First off is the third and last regular flight of the Opening Event in two hours from now at 2 p.m. local time with 14 levels of 30 minutes each.
