William Kassouf Eliminated by Lazer Gjergji

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

William Kassouf raised to 2,000 from the button and Lazer Gjergji three-bet from the small blind to 3,600. Kassouf called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Gjergji bet 5,675. Kassouf raised to 15,000.

"I have the best hand. One pair no good. Aces no good. Save your chips," he said.

Gjergji raised to 25,675. Kassouf moved all in for 40,000 and Gjergji called.

"I have backdoor everything, plus the up and down," said Kassouf.

He showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and was behind to Gjergji's {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The turn was the {j-Spades} and the river the {9-Clubs} and Kassouf was eliminated.

"Can't win one big hand," said Kassouf.

"Mr Coconuts!" said tablemate Rachid Allouch. Kassouf nodded: "I'll drink my tea and then go. I'll be back tomorrow."

Josef Snejberg vs Vojtech Ruzicka

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Josef Snejberg limped under the gun and Vojtech Ruzicka called. The player in the cutoff three-bet to 2,400 and the two remaining players called.

The three players checked a flop and turn of {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Clubs}. Snejberg bet 6,100 and after some consideration Rozicka called, and the third player in the hand folded.

Snejberg showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush and Rozicka eventually threw his hand away.

Oleksandr Tkachenko Eliminated by Oanh Bui

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

There were five players still in the hand on a board of {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The player who was first to act bet 3,100. Tkachenko called and Oanh Bui raised to 7,200. The two other players folded, as did the original bettor. Tkachenko then three-bet all in and Bui snap-called.

Bui: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Tkachenko: {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Tkachenko had turned a straight, but Bui had him drawing dead, and Tkachenko was already getting to his feet, when the river was dealt. The river was a brick and Bui gratefully accepted her opponent's chips.

Giovanni Rizzo Eliminated by Olle Icke

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

After numerous players at the table limped, including Olle Icke and Anna Wegscheider, Giovanni Rizzo moved all in for his remaining 15,000 or so chips. It folded around to Icke who called, and Wegscheider folded.

Icke: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Rizzo: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and with neither player holding a club, the queen on the river was enough for Icke to boost his stack to nearly 90,000.

Niall Farrell Busts Two Players

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

On a flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} both Aleksandar Tomovic and Niall Farrell check to a third player in the hand who moves all in for his remaining 3,900.

Tomovic eventually calls and Niall Farrell moves all in over the top. Tomovic thinks through his options before calling. Farrell shows {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and is ahead of Tomovic's {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and the third player's {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The turn is the {8-Hearts} and the river the {5-Clubs}.

Niall Farrell's plan for his second bullet is obviously going well!
