Muehloecker and Cynn Eliminated

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

On the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts} turn, Thomas Muehloecker check-shoved for what appeared to be 80,000 and Pascal Pflock, who had et 25,000, snap-called to put the Austrian at risk. Muehloecker had flopped best with the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, but Pflock had improved to a better set with the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

The {10-Diamonds} on the river was a blank and Muehloecker busted for a second time. Soon after, Tony Miles sent John Cynn packing and took a tiny bit of revenge for the lost heads-up duel in Las Vegas.

Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

On the three-way turn of {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Enzo Del Piero checked in the small blind and Jack Sinclair in late position made it 30,000 to go, which was called only by Del Piero. The {10-Clubs} fell on the river and Del Piero checked, Sinclair jammed for around 40,000 and forced a fold from his opponent.

Jordon Busts Khalek - First Break

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Soon after he was reduced to around 65,000, Abu Khalek got it in before the flop with the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and faced the uber-aggressive Terry Jordon with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The board came {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Jordon raked in the pot with the words "sometimes I have it."

Only moments later the players were sent into their first break of the day.

More Notables in the Field

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Francis Foord-Brown had sat down a few minutes ago and Jack Sinclair, as well as Robert Heidorn, were both waiting for a new seat assignment. A fifth tabled had opened up and they were waiting for another table to arrived before being balanced onto different tables.

Donoghue Jams Into Khalek

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Martin Donoghue bet 13,000 out of the small blind and Abu Khalek raised it up to 30,100 in the cutoff. Donoghue moved all in near instantly and that forced a fold from Khalek, who forfeited one third of his stack without showdown.

Muehloecker's Queens Cracked

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The cards of Cheng Rui Wong and Thomas Muehloecker were already turned over with Muehloecker at risk holding {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. Wong had {5-Spades}{2-Spades} for a gutshot on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and pair on the {2-Diamonds} turn. The {7-Hearts} on the river cracked the pocket queens of the Austrian and he will very likely re-enter soon again.

The Chips are Flying

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Christopher Kyriacou doubled when his aces held up against the king-nine of Terry Jordon, the chips went in after a nine-high flop. Joron himself doubled through Martin Donoghue as he was all in for 63,100 with {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} versus {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} on a {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. The {2-Spades} turn gave Jordon a full house and the {7-Clubs} river was a blank.
