Cimbolas and Del Piero Join

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Within quick succession, Matas Cimbolas, Harry Lodge and Enzo Del Piero sat down. For Cimbolas and Del Piero it is the first bullet in the event, while Lodge had already been eliminated and re-entered.

Del Piero won an early pot right after sitting down and his second barrel for 10,000 on the {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} was enough to force a fold from his sole remaining opponent.

"Show the bluff!" someone demanded and Del Piero flashed the {8-Clubs}.

Donoghue Busts Lodge and Labat

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante
Martin Donoghue
Martin Donoghue

In a three-way pot with 4,500 invested each, the flop came {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Martin Donoghue bet 6,000 and Terry Jordon folded, Harry Lodge called on the button. The {K-Clubs} came on the turn and Donoghue now made it 12,000 to go, again Lodge called.

After the {J-Spades} river, Donoghue bet 30,000 and Lodge moved all in, Donoghue snap-called and Lodge turned over his {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} for top two pair. However, Donoghue had spiked the nut straight with {Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and scored the knockout.

Shortly after on the same table, Antoine Labat was all in for 3,700 preflop and he was called four ways. It was Donoghue that bet the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, making it 5,000 to go. All opponents folded and he turned over the very same queen-ten, flashing {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. Labat only had {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the {K-Spades} turn and {Q-Diamonds} river failed to save the Frenchman.

Jordon Leaves Labat Short

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Terry Jordon has been involved in most of the hands since re-entering and lost two small pots. One of them was against Antoine Labat, who squeezed to 3,200 preflop. On the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Jordon checked and folded to a bet of 3,600 by Labat.

However, Labat then doubled the Brit and was left with crumbs.

Cynn on Board; Pflock Takes From Miles

Level 1 : 200/400, 400 ante

Tony Miles now faces John Cynn at his table, both know each other very well from a certain tournament in Las Vegas earlier this year. Miles lost a small pot against Pascal Pflock early on after he check-called a bet of 1,600 on the {K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Miles checked and folded when facing a second bet worth 4,500.

Re-Entry for Jordon

Level 1 : 200/400, 400 ante

"I put the wrong chips in," Terry Jordon joked and was spotted walking away from his table. Indeed, the dealer announced the seat open of the Brit while Maurizio Melara claimed the chips.

According to Orpen Kisacikoglu, Jordon had bet 20,000 into a pot of 8,800 with turned trips only for Melara to call with the flush and avoid a suckout on the river.

Jordon has already re-entered and now sits next to Thomas Muehloecker.
