Small Pot for Moorman

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Moorman defended his big blind against a raise by Tom Hall and check-called a bet of 4,000 to see the {J-Spades} on the turn. Both players now opted to check and the {K-Hearts} on the river brought a bet of 11,000 by Moorman and a fold by Hall.

Further assorted counts can be found below.

Three Big Names Join the Mix

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The 888poker ambassadors Chris Moorman and Parker Talbot were spotted at the registration desk along with Michael Mizrachi and joined the field in quick succession. Talbot wanted to bet with Moorman whether or not Martin Jacobson had more than the starting stack, which he let the Swede know as well.

Da-Silva Busts Clark

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The board was already completed and showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{2-Spades} when Jonathan Clark moved all in for around 50,000. Chris Da-Silva, who had recently re-entered, eventually tossed in two T-25,000 chips and Clark rolled over {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a bluff.

Da-Silva had the {K-Spades}{J-Clubs} and sent Clark to the rail.

"Is it going to be the same seat?" Clark inquired, referring to a very likely re-entry.

Assorted Counts

Level 5 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Chris Da-Silva has been eliminated while Ludovic Geilich, Tom Hall and Benny Glaser recently entered.

Matas Cimbolas took on Orpen Kisacikoglu and the latter check-called a bet of 17,500 out of the big blind on the {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} turn. On the {8-Diamonds} river, Kisacikoglu checked and Cimbolas used one time-bank of 30 seconds before betting 24,000. Kisacikoglu himself used two time banks and then sent his cards into the muck.

"Good fold. I like when people fold against me," Cimbolas said with a smirk.

Del Piero Vanishes in Two Hands

Level 5 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Enzo Del Piero
Enzo Del Piero

Enzo Del Piero invested 10,000 preflop against Jack Sinclair and both then checked the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. On the [¢8h] turn, Del Piero bet 10,000 and folded to a shove by Sinclair.

One hand later, Del Piero three-bet all in for the last 8,000 and initial raiser Cheng Rui Wong called to create the following showdown:

Enzo Del Piero: {8-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Cheng Rui Wong: {7-Spades}{5-Spades}

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Wong paired up on the flop, then improved to a flush on the river for good measure.

Ringe Takes From Miles

Level 5 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Tony Miles squeezed to 11,200 preflop and was called only by Gerald Ringe as initial raiser. Miles bet the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop for 11,000 and did so again for 21,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn. Ringe called both bets and the {5-Clubs} on the river was checked through.

Miles showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Ringe had that beat with the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.
