Big Hero Call By Onoufriou

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Joining the action on the {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts} turn, Antonios Onoufriou checked out of the big blind and Jen-Yue Chiang in early position made it 17,700 to go to pick up a call. On the {6-Hearts} river, Onoufriou checked once more and Chiang used one time bank before cutting out a bet and leading 38,300.

Onoufriou used one time bank and eventually called, what followed was a shaking head by Chiang, who turned over the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for the busted nutflushdraw. Onoufriou showed {A-Spades}{K-Spades} for a big hero call and raked in a massive pot.

"Would you have folded if I jam? I mean, it is essentially the same," Chiang inquired.

"I told you, it is either jacks or king queen of clubs," Onoufriou added. The same table also features fellow big stack Tamer Kamel.

Sitbon Busts to Miah

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

With more than 20,000 already in the middle and the flop showing {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Julien Sitbon eventually ended up all in against Ash Miah and was covered by only two big blinds for around 35,000.

Sitbon tabled the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for an overpair and gutshot, Miah had the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The board completed with the {Q-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river, sending Sitbon to the rail.

There has also been a shift in the top spot, as Tamer Kamel was sitting behind a massive wall of chips, his table broke and he was kind enough to explain what happened while raking up the chips.

According to Kamel, he called a button raise with sixes in the big blind and check-called a bet on the {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-} flop. On the {A-} turn, Kamel check-raised to 19,000 and his opponent from Spain called before Kamel's river bet on the {J-Hearts} for 37,000 was called. Kamel tabled his set and that was good enough to win the pot.

Nejad Turns a Set

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Ali Nejad raised the button to 3,600 and the big blind came along to check and subsequently call a continuation bet of 3,400 by Nejad on the {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. The {5-Diamonds} turn was checked to Nejad, who bet 9,000 and forced a fold, in which the {10-Clubs} was exposed by his opponent.

Mixed game aficionado and commentator extraordinaire Nejad turned over his {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and his opponent grinned, said "that was certainly a nice card."

Chipleader at the table is Arkadi Kilman ahead of former WSOP Main Event finalist Eoghan O'Dea.

Hopkins and Kamel Take a Hit

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The cards of Daniel Hopkins were already in the muck while he paid off the 36,000 of Thomas Hunter, who had won the hand with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Hopkins confirmed that he had been part of the showdown with ace-king and failed to connect with the {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board.

Tamer Kamel also took a hit to his stack, albeit much smaller, when taking on a short stack for around 10 big blinds with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} versus {A-Spades}{6-Spades}. Again the bigger stack hit nothing on a board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Ivgi Runs Out of Chips

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

First to act, Kfir Ivgi moved all in blind for 13,700 and was called by Julien Sitbon in the cutoff and Will Kassouf on the button. Ramon Miquel Munoz moved all in over the top and that forced a fold from Sitbon, Kassouf was still to act.

"What are you going to do now, you chicken?" Ivgi teased Kassouf and the latter folded {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} face up with the words "I am ahead of you, but not him" towards Ivgi.

Miquel Munoz showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Ivgi said "I don't know what I have" then revealed the {9-Spades} and the {A-Clubs}.

"I am happy to give the chips to you, but not that donkey," Ivgi continued towards the Spaniard and Kassouf, almost bumping fists with Miquel Munoz.

The board came {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Ivgi headed to the rail.

Ringe Eliminated

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Gerald Ringe
Gerald Ringe

Will Kassouf raised to 3,000 and Ramon Miquel Munoz called in the cutoff. Gerald Ringe shoved for 20,800 in the small blind to force out Kfir Ivgi in the big blind and Kassouf tossed his cards into the muck as well, Miquel Munoz snap-called.

Gerald Ringe: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Ramon Miquel Munoz: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Ringe had one overcard and clubs but found no help on the {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board.

"I had four deuce," Ivgi exclaimed. The Brit clashed soon after with Miquel Munoz and jammed the {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} river. Miquel Munoz reluctantly folded and was shown {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff.
