MacIntyre Left Short; Busts

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Fraser MacIntyre bet the {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop for 1,800 and his opponent raised to 4,700, which the Scotsman called. On the {10-Diamonds} turn both checked and the {8-Clubs} fell on the river. MacIntyre asked to see the stack of his opponent, who had 12,000 behind, and bet 3,500. The all in followed and MacIntyre folded.

A few minutes later, MacIntyre got it in preflop for around 15,000 with {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} versus {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and failed to improve on a {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board. It won't be the last time we see him in the tournament though, as he plans to re-enter and recommence the massage he had just started.

More Counts From the Felt

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Gary Fisher fired a second barrel for 4,600 on the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Spades} turn and then checked the {K-Diamonds} on the river. His opponent used a time bank and bet 6,700, which prompted Fisher to fold after some consideration.

Artan Dedusha recently entered, Kfir Ivgi and Ali Zihni re-entered already and Cristian Minu busted.

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Ramlal Basdeo
Ramlal Basdeo

Artjoms Skvarkovskis sent Krzysztof Pregowski to the rail and Ramlal Basdeo also boosted his stack again after a roller coaster ride to start the day. Basdeo quickly went up to 50,000, then lost twice with flush versus full house before just now winning a flip to bust an opponent with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} against pocket sevens on a board {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}.

Early Exit for Lena Evans on Day 1d

Tamer Kamel bet the {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop for 1,600 and James Mitchell on the button opted to raise to 4,500. A third player in the hand folded, and Kamel came to the same conclusion.

Jaime Sanchez lost some chips after he check-called a bet of 6,000 with the board reading {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and shook his head after being shown the {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of kings.

Gharaghani in Action

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Farhad Gharaghani had qualified in a satellite here at Aspers Casino and entered Day 1d before the first break of the day. Just now he ended up all in for a mere 5,400 on the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} turn and was called by an opponent with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Gharaghani had {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for a set and the double locked up, the {10-Hearts} river was a formality.

Soon after, Gharaghani doubled once more and jumped back above the starting stack.
